Bryan King’s Blog – Embracing Creativity, Technology, and Faith
Welcome to my personal blog, where I embark on a journey of creativity, technology, and faith in the God of the Holy Bible. I’m Bryan King, and over the past three decades, I have been deeply immersed in the world of development, electronics, and 3D printing. With 20 years of experience working with the U.S. Government and a passion for staying at the forefront of technological advancements, I find great joy in exploring innovative ideas and building exciting projects.
Before I delve further, it’s essential to be transparent about my writing process and audience. As a firm believer in leveraging the power of AI, I sometimes seek assistance from artificial intelligence to refine my thoughts and ideas. This allows me to present you with content that is well-crafted and impactful, while staying true to my authentic voice. Also, I want to be clear that my writing is primarily geared toward a male audience. This reflects my perspective and the communities I engage with most. That said, I’m grateful to have readers of all genders, and anyone interested in creativity, technology, or faith is welcome to join the conversation.
This blog serves as a testament to my ever-curious mind and an archive of valuable knowledge I have acquired over the years. It all began as a simple need to remember how I accomplished various tasks, but it has evolved into so much more. My mission is to share my experiences, discoveries, and insights with like-minded individuals who are as enthusiastic about technology, creativity, and faith as I am.
In this digital haven, you will find a diverse array of topics, from technical insights on development and electronics repair, to fascinating projects brought to life through 3D printing and design using tools like Fusion 360. My goal is to provide you with practical guidance and inspiration as you explore the realms of technology and innovation alongside me, all while acknowledging the profound influence of my faith in the God of the Holy Bible.
Beyond the realm of technology, there is another facet of my life that profoundly shapes who I am – my unwavering faith. As a devoted Christian, I find strength, peace, and purpose in my beliefs. While my blog primarily focuses on technology and innovation, my faith is an integral part of me, and you may find glimpses of it in some of my posts. I believe that both my technical explorations and my spiritual journey enrich and complement each other, making my blog an authentic reflection of my holistic self.
My vision for this blog is still unfolding, but I aspire to create a platform that fosters meaningful connections with fellow developers, electronics enthusiasts, 3D printing nerds, and those who share my Christian faith. Together, we can build a community that thrives on knowledge exchange, encouragement, and camaraderie.
I am excited to embark on this new chapter of blogging and to have you as part of this incredible adventure. Let’s dive into the world of creativity, technology, and faith together, as we uncover hidden gems of knowledge, celebrate innovation, and embrace the wonder of life.
Thank you for joining me on this journey!
With gratitude,
Bryan King
My Guiding Principles
What I Believe About LGBTQ+ Inclusion
I believe, “God doesn’t hate you.”
Those words matter—because for too long, LGBTQ+ people have been told, implicitly or explicitly, that they are outside of God’s love. I reject that completely. I believe in a God whose arms are open, whose love is unconditional, and whose invitation is for everyone.
Jesus said, “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). He didn’t say “some.” He said all. I believe the Gospel is good news for all people—regardless of gender, sexuality, or identity. John 3:16 says, “whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” That includes LGBTQ+ people, without exception.
When Jesus was asked what matters most, He said: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind… and love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets” (Matthew 22:37–40). For me, that means love isn’t just part of faith—it’s the foundation. Any theology that fails to center love has lost its way.
I also see that Jesus didn’t direct His harshest words toward so-called sinners. He saved them for the religious leaders—the ones who used God’s name to burden and exclude. He said, “You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces” (Matthew 23:13), and “You load people down with burdens they can hardly carry, and you yourselves will not lift one finger to help them” (Luke 11:46). That makes me believe that when religion is used to harm, Jesus stands with the harmed—not the gatekeepers.
I believe LGBTQ+ people are made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), fully worthy of love, dignity, and belonging—not in spite of who they are, but as they are.
If you’ve been hurt by religion, told you don’t belong, or made to feel ashamed for simply being yourself, please hear this from me and from the heart of what I believe: God doesn’t hate you. You are seen. You are loved. You are welcome.
